Vasa Vind AB is part of the Vasa Vind Group. Vasa Vind Group Holdings AB and all our subsidiaries within the group work to ensure that your privacy is protected when you use our services. We want you to feel confident that your privacy is respected and that your personal data is processed correctly. We take responsibility for ensuring that personal data processed by us is used only for its intended purpose and is protected against unauthorized access.
All processing of personal data within Vasa Vind Group Holdings AB and our subsidiaries takes place in accordance with applicable personal data legislation. Within the EU/EEA, the data protection regulation (GDPR) [1] applies from 25 May 2018.
The personal data controller for the processing of your data is the Vasa Vind company specified as responsible for the service you have shown interest in/contract with, or are managed within. Where group companies have developed specific policies, these take precedence over this general privacy policy.
What kind of personal data do we process?
When you cooperate with us, use our services, or visit our website, you may be asked to provide information. We also store information that you provide when you contact us.
Contact details: name, phone number, email address, address.
Technical data: the URL through which you access our web pages, your IP address and user behavior, browser type, language and operating system.
Data requiring extra protection, such as personal and account numbers, are processed only when absolutely necessary and with special organizational and technical security measures.

The purposes of processing personal data
Vasa Vind Group Holdings AB and our subsidiaries process your personal data for the following purposes:
- So that we can provide and administer products and services in accordance with the agreement.
- So that we can communicate and maintain a relationship with you before, during and after agreements or cooperation relationships.
- For marketing purposes, such as informing about our services and about developments in renewable energy in general.
The legal basis for processing personal data
Vasa Vind Group Holdings AB and our subsidiaries process the information required for us to be able to fulfill our contractual obligations. The personal data is saved as long as it is necessary to fulfill the agreement or legal obligations, which means that after terminated agreements, we save the necessary data based on legal obligations such as the Accounting Act (1999:1078) and limitation periods. In cases where contracts have required the processing of extra protection data, such as personal or account numbers, these will be deleted no later than 30 days after the legal basis has ceased.
Based on legitimate interest, we keep personal data for the purpose of entering into new similar collaborations after the end of the contract and for marketing purposes. Deletion takes place annually to keep our contact details relevant and is deleted when the processing is no longer necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing.
In some situations, we need your consent to process your data. In these cases, you may consent to the specific processing. Data processed on the basis of consent are processed until you withdraw your consent.
Who has access to your personal data?
Your data may be processed by our data processors who perform tasks on behalf of the Vasa Vind companies. These data processors will then only process the data in accordance with the purposes for which your personal data was collected, and according to Vasa Vind’s instructions.
Disclosures are made according to legal obligations and practices to e.g. authorities, auditors and lawyers.
We will not sell, share or otherwise disseminate your personal data to third parties, except in accordance with this policy and the GDPR.
Your rights and contact details
You have the right to receive information about the personal data we hold about you. We will provide you with the data within one month of receiving your request. In certain circumstances, this period can be extended to two months and you will be notified within one month. You can also, under the legal conditions, request the correction of inaccurate data, data restriction or deletion of your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing based on a balance of interests. As regards the processing based on a contractual relationship between us, you have the right to request the transfer of the data to another controller. You also have the right to withdraw consent and block your data from direct marketing.
