Vasa Vind is currently investigating the possibility of wind power within an area located between Hofors and Hedemora municipalites and in Gävleborg and Dalarna counties. The area of interest is located north of road E16, about 3 kilometers west of the city of Hofors. Sveaskog is the landowner of the area of interest.

11 wind turbines with a height of maximum 260 meters are estimated to annually produce 250 GWh. This amount is estimated to be equivalent to household electricity for 50,000 homes. For this estimation 5000 kWh corresponds to household electricity for a villa.
