The construction of Vasa Vind’s hybrid park in Fröskog outside Åmål (SE3) is now complete and the park is fully operational.
The wind turbines that were erected during the autumn have already been in production for several months and now has the solar park also been commissioned. The hybrid park has a capacity of 36 MW from wind power and just over 14 MW from solar.
The production profile from wind and solar power interact in a very positive way and adapted park control ensures that the grid connection is used optimally.
Vasa Vind is now also investigating the possibility of supplementing the park with a battery storage system to further contribute to a flexible power production
