APG new owner of Vasa Vind
The Dutch pension provider APG has acquired 100% of the shares in Vasa Vind. The parties already share a history of close cooperation as APG has in recent years invested in several wind farms that has been developed, constructed and operated by Vasa Vind. “It is with great excitement that we look forward to the next phase of the cooperation as we so clearly share the same values in terms of sustainability, focus on local communities and an ambition for further growth. APG’s long term perspective and financial strength (more than 600 bn€ under management) will contribute greatly to further develop the portfolio and the growth of Vasa Vind”, says Mattias Sjöberg, CEO of Vasa Vind.
