The solar farm will have an installed capacity of 19 MWp and the wind farm 36 MW.<\/span><\/b><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Construction of the solar farm will commence immediately and it will connect to the grid jointly with the wind farm. The wind farm is planned to be commissioned in late 2025, and the solar farm during the summer of 2026. The combined solar and wind farm will produce approximately 120,000 MWh per year, which is equivalent to the domestic electricity needs of approximately 24,000 households.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Vasa Vind\u2019s main supplier for the solar farm will be NYAB. Stenger &amp; Ibsen Construction will expand its civil and electrical works scope from the wind farm to also include the solar farm. Holtab will supply transformers and Vattenfall Eldistribution will be responsible for the grid connection.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u2013 We are very happy to now be able to construct Vasa Vind\u2019s first hybrid production facility, which not only means that we can use the grid connection more efficiently, but also add additional power production to southern Sweden, where there is currently a substantial deficit.
