About the wind farm

Åmliden wind farm consists of 29 wind turbines situated on the northern slopes of the Åmlidentoppen hill, between the villages of Åmliden and Rentjärn, approximately 20 km south east of Malå and 100 km west of Skellefteå in Västerbotten county. The facility was constructed during 2011-2012 and all turbines have been fully commissioned since November 2012.

The wind farm connects to the local utility Skellefteå Kraft's 152 kV grid via transformer station in the northern part of the site.
