About Vasa Vind
We have a long-term sustainable perspective in everything we do - from project development and construction to management of the wind farms during the decades they contribute with sustainable energy to the society

Renewable energy for a sustainable future

Vasa Vind has been active in the market since 2008 and is today one of Sweden's leading onshore wind power companies. Our business covers the entire value chain from project development and construction to technical and commercial operations management. Our target is to develop, build and operate long-term sustainable and efficient wind farms. Responsible development with great care for the local community and surrounding environment, and with Health and safety as our highest priority through all our activities.

Our portfolio produces more than 1.6 TWh of renewable energy yearly, which is equivalent to the consumption of approximately 320,000 Swedish households*. This corresponds to 1% of Sweden's total electricity generation and about 5% of Sweden's wind farm generation**. Our development portfolio includes one of Sweden's largest onshore wind farms and a growing number of wind farm projects all over Sweden.

We have a long-term sustainability perspective in everything we do - from the early stages of identification of the sites with the best wind resource and local conditions, throughout the entire chain of engineering, financing and construction, to safe and efficient operations of the operational assets during the decades that they will contribute with renewable energy to the society.

* Estimated 5,000 kWh/year and house.
** Compared with SCB: 33 TWh wind power generation and 170 TWh total electricity generation in 2022.

From A to Z

We are active throughout the entire value chain, from the early stages of site identification, environmental permitting process, engineering, wind measurement and financing process to construction and finally operations management of renewable power generation for several decades.
